As the first customers, we had a wonderful experience in Gran Melia Rome. Staffs are really helpful and friendly. Beautiful garden and swimming pool. The hotel located on a hill near Vantican city and St Angelo castle, very good location! Real 5-star hotel! Worth it! Love it!

It's lovely welcoming hotel with incredibly attentive personnel from the included breakfast buffet to the turn-down service. The location is excellent, 15 minutes' walk to Castel Sant'angelo Museum. The restaurant is fantastic for light meals.

great stay but minor improvements needed
The garden apartment private whirlpool was spacious and beautifully furnished. The staff genuinely stood out, especially Antonio, whose service was really good and personalized. The pool area was fantastic-large and never crowded, with attentive staff ensuring we had everything we needed. I also loved the lovely view of the city from the pool area.
The breakfast options could use some expansion.

Great hotel! We enjoyed it! 1. Location-perfect! 10min walking to Vaticano, 10 min - to Plazza Navona, 10min -to Trastevere. 2. Facilities at the hotel, rooms - there are all that you need 3. Transfer from airport - comfortable 4. Area of the hotel is great, nice, designed, has a swimming pool, djakuzi and very comfortable outside beds. 5. Staff is very kind and frendly!!!
There is some inconsistency between hotels service department. When we werent in the room during all day, nobody cleaned it. Just have come, housekeepers knocked the door))) An hour later other housekeepers could come, an hour later houskeeper's contro service could knocked the door))) Asked something ( to bring, to change at the room) to reception clarks you should ask second time usually later. I hope it is because of the hotel is new, just opened. These trifles will be corrected. Then this hotel will have mark 10!!!!

very friendly, tasty, homelike atmosphere..... Many thanks to the staff!
glass bathroom, I stayed in the hotel with my 17year-old son... there was some curtain, but it should spread a bit wider.

Our stay in a lovely Deluxe Room was a treat, especially enjoying the amazing breakfast options and cooling off in the beautiful pool! I also appreciated the spa treatments that helped me unwind after a busy day. The only little thing was the air conditioning was a bit slow at times, but it didn’t ruin our overall experience. 😊

An oasis of quiet in the heart of the city -- one block from the Tiber and a five minute walk to the Vatican. One of the best meals that we had anywhere.
Although there was a built in desk with a chair for doing work, there was no light at the desk and no convenient electrical outlets at desk level.

Perfect spot for a getaway
We had a nice 4-night stay and the upgrade was a sweet surprise! Our room was comfy and clean, and breakfast was delish with loads of options. The outdoor area for evening drinks was lovely, but I was bummed about the small room size. A solid experience, just needed better water service.

Thank you everyone for a really really nice stay with Red Level service. The room was lovely modern, had separate bathroom. I had a delicious American breakfast. Particularly good and beautiful location to attractions like Sant'onofrio, that was close to the hotel. Also, the area was really beautiful...

I loved the morning brunch served on the patio by the pool. It was excellent! Loved the shower with the multiple shower jets. Nice presentation when you arrived, felt like you were staying in a resort as opposed to a big city hotel.
The room was small yet functional but the open bathroom concept was too modern for the small room.
